What is a Doula?
A doula is a non-medical professional who provides informational, physical, and emotional support to women and their families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Doulas are extremely knowledgeable about childbirth and provide evidence based information so that you are able to make informed choices throughout your pregnancy and birth. Doulas also support parents in the early days and weeks after the birth of their baby as they navigate and adjust to life with a newborn.

HEY THERE! I’M FELICITY…
Hi, I’m Flick. I’m a mum of 2 and a certified birth and postpartum doula servicing the Mackay region.
I am extremely passionate about supporting families through life’s big transitions and I believe that pregnancy and birth is a rite of passage.
Each birthing mother has their own goals and it is my aim to walk alongside you and support you while you achieve your desired birth, how ever that might look for you.
At Joey & The Willow Tree it is our mission to provide you with continuity of care, support you physically and emotionally and provide you with unbiased information so that you are able to make informed decisions throughout your pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey.
We aim to walk alongside you, hold space for you and advocate with you while you feel empowered in your own journey.
